About your mentor – Peter

What’s up!? I’m Peter and I made the BuildFast Course.

A little about me

• Started coding (learned Python hah!) when I was 15.

• Built bots in Python to help me make money, leveling up accounts in Runescape.

• Got past my gaming addiction in college, and did a lot of small side hustles like starting affiliate sites, day trading crypto, re-selling rare sneakers. (Some of these made money, some didn’t)

• While reselling sneakers, I used a lot of software that SUCKED so I decided to just code my own software that I got a few sales for, and became obsessed with selling software after this point.

• After college, I worked at a FAANG as a developer. Learned a lot, I worked on huggeee software services that had 2M+ daily requests. It was fun!

• Got promoted, took on more of a lead role on the team and did more mentoring. I found that I LOVED teaching and guiding new developers.

• In the past 6 months, I’ve been obsessed with Al. Been spending nights and weekends heads down building cool sh’t.

• I started building-in-public and posting all my learnings on my Twitter. I got to play around with whatever was on my mind and people loved watching the demos & learning. It was a win-win.

And now, I’m tinkering around with BuildFast Course.
